Implementación

In theory, everything holds together, then the doors open and the place sets its own calendar.
Deploying means tuning what was imagined to what the place actually lives.

Opening the doors

The direction is written, the programmes are ready. A fortnight before opening, other questions take over the meetings.

01

What should the team hear on arrival?

02

Do reception and the waiting room live at the same rhythm?

03

Who moves a schedule on a public holiday?

04

What happens when a stream goes down?

05

How far may one venue depart from the shared framework?

Each looks modest. Together they decide what the place will let people hear, since a single one left without a shared answer is enough for an error to become systemic, for a local exception to settle into a rule, and for a network outage to end up mistaken for a streaming fault.

Music Eye View connects programmes to zones and times, prepares their launch, coordinates interfaces and makes every responsibility clear. Streaming carries, infrastructure makes available, deployment holds together what was intended and what will be played.

On site, Pascale and her team watch the people first: those who arrive, those who wait, those who work, those who welcome, and the way the day slides from one space to the next. Éric and his team then bring these situations into the musical material, working through repertoire, intensity, transitions and silence until each programme finds its place in the whole. From these two readings comes a deployment that is editorial work as much as commissioning.

Defining roles

Lasting difficulties rarely sit inside roles; they sit between them. Between programming and the network, between the team on site and the integrator, between whoever raises a request and whoever can settle it. As long as these boundaries stay unspoken, an incident changes hands several times before reaching those who could have resolved it almost at once.

Under Pascale and Éric’s direction, their teams carry the reading of situations, the editorial direction, the programming and the systems provided for in the engagement. The client names the contacts for each site, appoints who validates and who settles a local request, and attends to operating conditions. This distribution is set before launch, not discovered at the first incident.

A single point of entry directs each request, and the escalation path names the next contact when a second level is needed.

Four requests, four paths. Identidad sonora governance does not come to a close; it carries through.

From intention to place

A sound direction moves from intention into a place; the place answers back with its schedules, its constraints and its patterns of use. Four movements keep that passage legible.

01

Design

Before anything is played, design establishes what the brand or institution wants people to recognise, for which audiences and in which situations, then draws from it an intended experience, a musical grammar, reference repertoire, exclusions and editorial rules. Implementación takes up that course and gives it purchase on reality.

02

Deploy

Around Pascale and Éric, Music Eye View’s teams discover the place as it works, with its volumes, its schedules and the people who stay there, who work there. They order the programmes, shape sequences and transitions, define the versions required and how they are to be used. Across several sites, a shared framework draws the properties together; the rules particular to each one set them apart.

03

Observe

Once the programmes are deployed, the teams on site hear the first dissonances with the way the place is actually used. A schedule works at one site and gets in the way at the next; an interface that felt clear to the team who discovered it during the project turns opaque for a new team arriving later. They check the programmes, the schedules and the availability of streams, then report what gets in the way, and Music Eye View tells an isolated incident from a difficulty that keeps returning.

04

Refine

Every comment must be heard; not every comment calls for a change. Artificial intelligence draws out the patterns the feedback traces and informs the decision. Pascale and Éric then decide, with their teams and the client’s designated contacts, what should evolve and what should hold. Once the decision is taken, Music Eye View’s teams put a new version live, amend the matrix or the usage guide concerned, and coordinate the technical change where one is needed.

What must hold

A programme may be right and still fail at the threshold of a place: too loud in a room of twenty, too fast at seven in the morning, inaudible under a glass roof, absent on the morning of the opening. Four realities must hold together, and organisations often entrust them to four different people.

01

Places and their audiences

A plan of zones says where you are; the hours say who is there. A lobby crossed at seven in the morning, a waiting room full at eleven, a workspace at three in the afternoon, a bar emptying after midnight: four spaces, four audiences, four sets of gestures. Volumes, materials and actual sound levels matter, and yet the reading always begins with those who spend time in these spaces and those who bring them to life.

02

Systems

Streams, control interfaces, equipment and connections carry the sound, and the most precise programme depends on them. Music Eye View’s teams design and operate the systems provided for in the engagement; for the client’s systems or those of third parties, they specify the requirements and coordinate the interface points with the designated contacts.

03

The musical material

A deployment is also decided between two tracks: a shift in density, a voice that arrives too soon, a transition that breaks the movement, a silence no one allowed to exist. Éric and his team place repertoire through musicology and the history of music, and test the choices beyond immediate taste. Music Eye View holds editorial responsibility for the programmes within its remit.

04

The teams

On opening day, the local teams are the ones who sense the first mismatches: they know when a pattern of use shifts, when an interface invites confusion, when a rule needs rewording. Music Eye View directs them to the right contact according to the nature of the signal.

What remains, what varies

Running a portfolio of properties, the first instinct is often to reproduce what already works. Then a new address opens: its lobby faces an avenue where the previous one faced a garden, and the morning programme, a hundred metres away, turns inaudible.

From a hotel to a clinic, from a restaurant to a shared workspace, the question stays the same: one place holds several times, and each time calls for its own decision. Often the same mechanism, which has to be adapted. Coherence belongs to the shared direction, settings belong to the places, and what sets one sector apart from another takes few words to say.

01

Hospitality

Times follow one another quickly and overlap: the lobby takes the first departures while the restaurant is still preparing lunch service. Music Eye View arranges the streaming slots according to spaces and moments.

02

Healthcare and wellbeing

A patient, a relative and a carer cross the same corridor in three different frames of mind. Music Eye View decides, with the care teams, which audience takes priority according to place and moment.

03

Education and campus

A reading room, a lecture hall during an examination, a corridor while classes are running: the sound direction writes silence there as it would write a programme. Music Eye View maps the spaces and their uses.

04

Workplace and branded spaces

One place often holds several functions: people pass through, work, receive visitors. Music Eye View connects each decision taken on its own into a body of decisions guided by intention rather than by uniform choice.

Across a portfolio, Music Eye View documents what stays shared, what varies locally and who decides that variation. A new address then joins a common history, and adds to it in turn.

What you keep

On the day of deployment, the sound identity begins to be heard, and the work that made it possible fades from view. Documentation keeps it consultable: the team arriving two years later finds there what was decided, what they may change, who to turn to when a situation shifts.

Depending on the scope of the engagement, Music Eye View’s teams provide:

  • the matrix linking zones, times and programmes;
  • the applicable repertoire, exclusions and editorial rules;
  • shared standards and site-specific settings;
  • the configuration of the Music Eye View systems concerned;
  • prerequisites and interface points with third-party systems;
  • usage guides and feedback routes for teams;
  • a register of versions, decisions and their scope;
  • the agreed support framework.

Every documented setting says why it was chosen. With that memory, another operator can take the system over and carry it forward. A sound identity is an asset, not a dependency.

Open a conversation

Perhaps you are preparing an opening. Perhaps a direction already exists, and its passage from one site to the next remains to be organised. Perhaps the programmes are working, while the rules, the access and the responsibilities are waiting to be gathered.

The first conversation takes place directly with Pascale and Éric. They begin by situating with you the audiences, the spaces, the existing direction, the responsibilities and the real conditions of commissioning. They remain your points of contact, and members of their teams join the work as soon as the reading, the programming, the deployment or the interfaces call for it.

If an engagement takes shape, the audit is its first step: it establishes what should be confirmed, corrected or built before a sound identity is deployed and governed over time.

Let us hear what has to hold when the doors open.

Preguntas frecuentes

Implementación, streaming, commissioning: what is the difference?

Three distinct things: a function, a moment, a piece of work. Streaming is the function that carries programmes to the spaces and plays them there. Puesta en servicio is the moment when the system is switched on, checked and handed to the teams. Implementación is the work around both: Music Eye View decides what plays in each zone and at each time, coordinates the interfaces, establishes who decides what, then documents what has been put in place.

How do you govern music across several sites?

Through a shared signature with local adaptations, or through a site-by-site reading. A shared framework carries the brand principles, the naming conventions and the standards; each property keeps the settings its audiences, uses, schedules and technical constraints require. Versions and responsibilities remain identifiable site by site.

What does the client keep at the end of an engagement?

The matrix of zones and times, the editorial rules, the usage guides, the register of versions and the configuration of the systems provided for in the contract. What Music Eye View operates as a service, access and streams, ends with the contract that provides for it. The documentation remains: another team finds the decisions there and takes the system over.
