Quiénes somos

Between what a brand seeks to make heard and the reality of a place, we look for the musical form that can hold the two together with precision. The brand’s intention sets a direction. The place, and those who experience it, give that direction its measure. Music takes shape in that encounter.

Two profiles, two ways of listening, one vision

Pascale escucha lo que sucede alrededor de la música.

Para Pascale, la identidad sonora comienza con lo que una marca quiere expresar, con las palabras que elige y el sentido que les atribuye.

For Éric, the precision of a musical choice is revealed by the way it sits within a place and by how it is experienced by the people there.

Our origins

The intention arrives in words, sometimes precise, and immediately becomes a direction. The place answers with its rhythms, patterns of use and habits, with those who work there and those who pass through. Between the two, music does more than translate. It reveals, shifts the balance and sometimes brings forward what had not yet been heard.

This way of working took shape over time.

It grew out of the places we encountered, the situations we faced, and questions that experience gradually made more precise. Some convictions strengthened. Others became more nuanced. Over the years, our reading grew more precise, more nuanced and better able to distinguish between a principle, a context and a decision.

01

Medios y televisión

Pascale and Éric began their careers in media and television, notably at Canal+, where image, narrative and sound were developed together. Their professional story unfolded alongside a shared personal one; over the years, references, conversations and experiences fed an ongoing dialogue between two ways of thinking and deciding.

02

Tecnología digital y plataformas

As digital technology began reshaping media, platforms and distribution, Pascale and Éric chose to study its mechanisms more closely at Télécom ParisTech.

En 2012, su trabajo de investigación sobre la identidad sonora desde la perspectiva de la experiencia del cliente dio a ese pensamiento un enfoque preciso. Music Eye View nació de esa línea de investigación.

03

Identidad sonora& governance

Pascale and Éric then went to Asia, taking that thinking into real situations, in places where brand identity was already operating on an international scale.

Fue en Asia donde la hotelería de lujo ofreció por primera vez un terreno práctico a esa reflexión, al explorar cómo una identidad de marca podía adquirir forma musical en espacios con múltiples usos.

Our point of view

Identidad sonora governance finds its measure in real conditions: a place, a moment, distinct personalities, and an intention that finds a form capable of remaining in memory.

Experiencia

Nearly fifteen years of practice, across places and situations in more than thirty-five countries, has shaped a way of reading what happens in a place.

That reading is made up of details that, over time, become markers. The presence of a voice, the density of an arrangement, the length of a track, the frequency of its return, the space left for silence, or the pace at which a repertoire changes reveal their true measure only over time, within the life of a place. Their relevance lies in how they meet its uses, its rhythms and the people who return day after day.

Experiencia then makes it easier to distinguish what can travel across contexts from what belongs to one particular situation. Some principles remain; their expression shifts with the people, the place and the moment. It is in that gap that a choice becomes more precise.

Intención

Each person enters a place with their own expectations, sensibility, history and singular way of perceiving it.

We try to understand that presence in full: what brings someone into the place, what they are there to experience, how long they stay, how often they return, and the relationship they have with that environment. These elements amount to far more than a pattern of use; together they give each situation its human texture.

This is where a brand’s intention becomes concrete: what it wants to express about itself, the impression it wants to leave, the emotion it wants to associate with that moment, and the relationship it wants to create. Music then finds its place where a brand identity and a place meet an individual who experiences both through their own sensibility.

Método

Pascale and Éric each work with a team whose perspectives, listening and observations inform each decision.

With Pascale, the focus stays on what places reveal about themselves: their uses, their rhythms, the people who give them life, and the gaps between a stated intention and what everyday reality reveals. With Éric, that reading meets the musical material. Research opens up repertoires, listening tests their possibilities, and programming organises choices over time.

Across projects, this collective intelligence also preserves the memory of what has been decided. It allows us to return to a choice, understand why it was made, follow how it evolves in the place, and allow the programming to evolve without losing the direction that first gave rise to it.

Practitioners and teachers

The questions raised in class shift our perspective in return. They ask us to revisit what seemed obvious, examine what felt settled, and make a line of reasoning more legible. The situations encountered in projects give this thinking its concrete substance; teaching asks us to test its coherence and make it something that can be passed on.

Open a conversation

This way of approaching a brand, its values, messages and intentions, then reading them alongside individuals, places and music, continues to deepen with every encounter and every new question.

That is where we like to open the conversation: listening for what your brand already carries, understanding what your places and the people within them reveal, then looking with you for the musical form that can bring them together with precision.
